On the way back to Delhi from Jaipur in a Flix bus, I woke up to the bus being parked at this Hotel & Restaurant. i have not included a review rating for Rooms since I didn't stay there just had a Tandoori Parantha and Adrak Elaichi Chai.
This is roughly another 2 hour 45 min drive to Delhi so a mid point stopover. For us it seemed to be because the Driver/Conductor would get free food but then that's a very standard practice so why use that as a factor. The good points
1. Beautiful surroundings. Surrounded by lush yellow/green mustard fields made eternally popular for romantic hearts by DDLJ.
2. They also have a small bunny cage, cute but not so great from animal perspective as they were quite a few cramped into a small cage
3. The tandoori parantha was quick and quite decent size for the price. It was a bit stretchy which meant extra dose of refined flour but guess that again is a standard practice. The parantha was served and I wasn't told about it which I had requested as I was walking outside and hence it was not piping hot
4. The tea was quick too but left a bit of not much to be desired. Though i had asked for it to be served post meal and when I asked for it to be reheated, fresh cup of tea was served so definitely a 4.5 on service
Overall it's a bit of a hit or miss but what worked for me was open spaces around, mustard fields, a bit rustic giving the old highway dhaba feel which is just vanishing now with all the big brands and chains coming up while basic modern and hygiene washroom facility.
